Daisy and Bobbyjay are Romulans and Capulets in a blue-collar Jacobean comedy of feuds, follies, and getting your fingernails dirty.

Bobbyjay is considered the dumbest member of his stagehand family–because no matter what dumb thing they do, he steps in to take the blame. But when they fill that Porsche Targa full of live smelt, even Bobbyjay can’t prevent a terrible old feud from starting up again.

Daisy wants to be a stagehand, but her grandfather won’t hear of it. She keeps house for her grandfather and her scratch’n'sniff cousins instead. When she leaves the Targa where Bobbyjay’s family can get at it, she realizes only one thing can save Bobbyjay’s life and stop the feud–a fake engagement to Bobbyjay.

Daisy shows Bobbyjay how smart he really is. Bobbyjay makes all Daisy’s dreams come true…even dreams she didn’t know she had.
